Small groups are first-class
MapleTime is tuned so solo progress remains viable while organized play compensates for assembly and coordination. Starter parties work below level 10, and a guild can be formed by two participants for 500,000 mesos.
Automatic party search
Use @partysearch on when invitations are welcome. The existing finder can
connect players seeking similar content; disable it with @partysearch off
when you prefer uninterrupted solo play.
@partysearch open opens the native finder, and @partysearch reports your
current consent and leader-search status. The PQ desks offer role-aware
recruitment actions separately from incoming-invitation consent; enabling
consent does not register a leader’s search or automatically join a party.
Party quests
Explanatory PQ dialogs remain visible, including entry requirements. Named PQ rewards use the current level-band rate, party-size bonus, and an additional PQ bonus. The goal is rewarding coordinated clears without making them mandatory. Check that your party is at the right entrance and on the same channel. The entry check shows what your party still needs, and checks the requirements again when you start the run.
In an uncleared Orbis PQ, nonleaders can ask Eak in the ordinary rooms to use the existing exit room. Cancel changes nothing. Confirming a later departure to town follows the usual rules: a leader’s departure ends the uncleared run, and a nonleader’s departure can end it if fewer than five remain. Leaving does not reset puzzles or award another reward.
Expedition bosses
Large legacy expedition minimums are capped at three players. Normal prerequisites still apply, and you still need a group. Build a small reliable party rather than waiting for a full historical raid roster.
Zakum and Horntail attendance separates registered members from players actually present. Named Here, Other channel, Elsewhere, and Offline details are visible only to current members of that expedition. Attendance is advisory; it does not summon players, change quotas, or bypass prerequisites.
