Client 1.6.18 makes MapleTime easier to play on a handheld PC such as the ROG Xbox Ally X, or with a controller on any PC.
- The game opens full screen. Alt+Enter still switches to a window, and the next start opens the way you left it.
- It plays at
1366x768with smooth scaling. A size you picked in System Option is kept. - Controllers use MapleStory Classic World’s layout:
- A jumps, Y attacks, X confirms or talks to NPCs, and B cancels.
- LB sits, RB picks up, and the D-pad opens Equipment, Item, Skill, and Ability.
- Start opens the Game Menu, and Back opens Short Cut.
- Hold LT for the World Map, Quest, Key Config, and your potions, or RT for the Cash Shop, Buddy, Party, and Change Channel.
- With Save ID checked, the login screen remembers your password after a successful login, so logging in again takes one press of X. It is encrypted for your Windows account and stays on your PC.
Install 1.6.18 over your current client. Settings you changed are kept, and settings still at the old defaults move to the new ones.
The installer is unsigned. Microsoft Defender has reported a detection for the legacy game executable; this release does not claim independent antivirus clearance. Review security detections before running the software. A matching checksum identifies a file, not whether it is safe.
