Client 1.6.16 bundles the fixes and options tested since 1.6.2.
- Press Alt+Enter to switch between the window and a full screen that fills the display.
- Pick a game size from 800x600 up to 1600x900 in System Option. A larger size saved by an older client opens at 1600x900.
- Enlarged game art stays sharp. In
config.ini,scale=fitfills any display,filter=smoothrounds pixel edges, andvsync=onremoves tearing. - On a controller, hold LT or RT to turn the D-pad and face buttons into the
1 to 8 or F1 to F8 keys. Pressing the right stick clicks, and
config.inirebinds any button. - Deleting a character needs only the game’s confirmation, since MapleTime does not use PICs.
- The cash shop opens without moving the window, list page arrows display correctly, and fixed dialogs stay centered at larger sizes.
Existing settings are kept when upgrading. New options are listed in
MapleTime.defaults.ini beside config.ini; copy any you want to change.
The installer is unsigned. Microsoft Defender has reported a detection for the legacy game executable; this release does not claim independent antivirus clearance. Review security detections before running the software. A matching checksum identifies a file, not whether it is safe.
